Use washable containers to store homemade baby food instead of disposable bags.
ReplyDeleteUse fleece or cotton wipes with warm water for diaper changes instead of disposables. Better for environment and for babies bum as well
ReplyDeleteKeep a stack of baby washcloths in the kitchen/dining room for wiping up messy faces (and hands. and heads. and arms...)
ReplyDeleteI don't have any green parenting tips probably since I'm not a parent yet. I hope to be green and cloth diaper though and am thinking of using prefolds with covers for the new born stage to save on waste, money, laundry, then using the prefolds as inserts as the baby gets bigger. I also want to use cloth wipes instead of disposables.
ReplyDeleteCloth Diapering, and Breastfeeding!Use Glass instead of plastic as much as possible!
ReplyDeleteBreast feeding and using reusable instead of disposable diapers, wipes, baby food containers
ReplyDeleteI line dry my cloth diapers when possible.
ReplyDeleteCloth diapers and cloth wipes with water.
ReplyDeleteWow what an awesome giveaway
ReplyDeletetry as many reusable options as you can find - wipes, diapers, snack bags, pouches, water bottles.
ReplyDeleteSay yes to second-hand strollers, cribs, highchairs etc(that are in usable condition), you'll help extend the life of those objects and won't break the bank.
ReplyDeleteI use cloth wipes, cloth diapers, and always bring my own bag into stores.
ReplyDeleteBuy second hand items, as long as their nice condition!
ReplyDeleteuse reusable stuff whenever possible! (cloth diapers, cloth wipes, unpaper towels, momma cloth, etc)
Use washcloths to clean your child's mouth & hands at mealtime, otherwise you'll end up using a lot of paper towel!
ReplyDeleteCloth diapers and breastfeeding. Also line-drying, especially the diapers!
ReplyDeleteSecond hand is always good for things like toys, clothes, and strollers. Not to mention breastfeeding, and cloth diapering. Our latest tip has been ordering two rolls of cloth paper towels! Makes clean ups so easy and eco-friendly!
ReplyDeleteMy best green parenting tip: go diaper free! Especially during these warm summer months.
ReplyDeleteI like to rewear clothes until they are truly dirty.
