We are big gardeners here and we have had a garden for about 5 years now since moving to this house. Every year it gets a little bit bigger it seems too. Danny takes care of most of the actual gardening and I just do the eating. We tried out the Hori Hori Knife.
- The hori hori digging tool is a cross between a trowel and a knife - the best garden tool for digging, planting, weeding, and dividing.
- The 7.5inch (19cm) knife blade is made of sturdy stainless steel with a mirror polish finish. It has a straight edge and a serrated edge - ideal for sawing through tough roots and other gardening jobs.
- The Sensei Hori Hori knife has a contoured and textured handle so that you have a firm grip that never slips, making it the ultimate gardener knife. It's also cold-resistant, and suitable for all weathers.
- The knife blade has a depth scale marked on one side, so you know exactly how deep you're digging - especially useful when planting bulbs.
I really like that this is a multi use tool. It is a spade and a knife and I can use it to dig as well as cut my veggies off the vines. It has a built in ruler so you know how deep to dig in the dirt for your plants. The case is a must at our hose since we have small children around and need to keep our items contained.
The handle is comfortable in my hand and it seems to be nicely made.
